2nd Bielany Patriotic Evening

The program includes the concert "Huta Warszawa. Idziemy po wolność" and an exhibition of archival photographs documenting the strikes. Huta Warszawa is an important part of the history of Bielany and a story about several generations of people whose professional and personal lives were connected with this plant. It is also a place where solidarity, courage and the pursuit of freedom were born. A special testimony to those times are the strike events that have become permanently inscribed in the history of Poland's path to change. During this year's Bielański Wieczór Patriotyczny, we will recall those events through music and archival photographs. The concert "Idziemy po wolność" will be a musical story about the values that united people in difficult moments of our history. The photo exhibition, meanwhile, will allow us to look at those days from the perspective of participants and witnesses of the events at Huta Warszawa. We invite you to a shared encounter with history, which is an important part of the local identity of Bielany. Where and when: 14 November, Saturday, 4:00 PM. Sala Widowiskowa, Urząd Dzielnicy Bielany, ul. S. Żeromskiego 29. Free admission. Limited number of seats.
