Jana Nowaka-Jeziorańskiego 24 I'm not interested in how people move, but what moves them – Pina Bausch. Dance is born from this need: from passion, curiosity and the desire to express oneself. But also from attentiveness to another person, from rhythm, shared work and understanding that allows many people to create something exceptional. For years, the Ogólnopolskie Spotkania Taneczne Spontan have been bringing together dance groups from all over Poland in Warsaw. It is a space where different personalities, styles and experiences meet, and each choreography becomes a separate story. Behind the stage presentations stand not only talent and hours of practice, but also relationships, trust and shared passion. Spontan is something more than an annual choreography review. It is a tradition of meetings, exchange of inspiration and shared experience of dance – an event that one returns to not only for the stage, but also for the people one meets on and around it. The festival has been organized for over 20 years by Dom Kultury Dorożkarnia in Warsaw. The originators and coordinators of the event are Izabella Borkowska and Darek Sikorski. The honorary patronage over the event was assumed by the Mayor of the Mokotów District of the Capital City of Warsaw, Rafał Miastowski.
