42nd Warsaw International Film Festival

For 10 days, Warsaw will once again become the heart of world cinema - it will be a time filled with premiere screenings, meetings with creators from all over the world and unique film emotions. The festival, organized since 1984 by the Warsaw Film Foundation, has the prestigious FIAPF accreditation in category A, which puts it in line with events such as festivals in Cannes, Berlin and Venice. The program will include both competitive sections - International Competition and Competition 1-2 for creators of first and second feature films - as well as non-competitive sections, such as Free Spirit, Meetings, Special Screenings and Family Film Weekend. The festival is traditionally concentrated in the very center of Warsaw, attracting thousands of viewers every day who contribute to the unique cinematic atmosphere of the city.
