82nd anniversary of the establishment of the German transit camp in Ursus

On October 2, 1944, on the grounds of the Ursus factory, a transit camp was established for 50,000 Warsaw residents expelled from the capital after the capitulation of the Warsaw Uprising. This year we celebrate the 82nd anniversary of these events. The course of the official ceremonies with the participation of school color guards and representatives of veterans' organizations: 11:00 a.m. – speech by the Mayor, laying of flowers, lighting of candles and prayer. Społeczna Szkoła Podstawowa Nr 4. im. W. Grabskiego STO w Warszawie is the organizer of the ceremony.
