Big Book Festival 2026: It Was Better Before

For four days, September 24-27, we will reflect together, argue, and immerse ourselves in the past that inspires, moves, amuses, and in many ways shapes how we live. We will look for arguments to confirm and refute theses about the superiority of the past over the present. We will smile at memories and question the idealization of times gone by. Dozens of events, visits from foreign authors, premiere and pre-premiere presentations of books from Poland and around the world, many reasons to discover meanings hidden in literature and in-depth conversations about the world we live in.
