This is a nature activity involving the simultaneous search for as many species of plants and animals as possible, with the participation of experts, volunteers and residents. BioBlitzes are often organized in green areas, parks and reserves located within or near cities in order to gain at least partial knowledge about the species occurring there. After the June and September events, we invite you to the autumn edition of research walks. START at Bistro Mała Czarna, ul. Gwiaździsta 69 Duration of each walk 2-4 h. Saturday / October 3 TREES AND SHRUBS – walk with a dendrologist, 10:00 a.m. PLANTS AND PLANT COMMUNITIES – walk with a botanist and phytosociologist, 10:00 a.m. FUNGI - walk with a mycologist, 10:00 a.m. (magnifying glasses will be useful) LICHENS - walk with a lichenologist, 10:00 a.m. (magnifying glasses will be useful) BATS – walk with a chiropterologist – 6:00 p.m. Sunday / October 6 BIRDS - walk with an ornithologist, 8:00 a.m. (binoculars will be useful) MAMMALS - walk with a theriologist, 10:00 a.m. TERRESTRIAL INVERTEBRATES - walk with an entomologist, 10:00 a.m. (magnifying glasses will be useful) AMPHIBIANS AND REPTILES - walk with a herpetologist, 10:00 a.m. ORGANISMS IN THE AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT - walk with a hydrobiologist, 10:00 a.m. (magnifying glasses will be useful) Thematic walks starting on the same day at the same time may be combined. It is worth installing the iNaturalist app on your phone in advance and (optionally) creating an account in the iNaturalist.org system Take care of appropriate clothing and footwear - we will be moving along paths and off them. We ensure the greatest possible safety for participants, however during the walks closer than usual contact is planned with plants, animals and other organisms that may cause allergic reactions or other undesirable symptoms in sensitive people. Adjust the type of walk and the form and scope of your participation to the capabilities and needs of your body. Minors may participate in the walks under the supervision of adults.
