Great Warsaw Race already on 27 September at the Służewiec Track

On 27 September, the Wielka Warszawska will take place at the Służewiec Racecourse, the most important event of the racing season in Poland and one of the most prestigious races for Thoroughbred horses in Central and Eastern Europe. The Host City of the event is the Capital City of Warsaw. The highlight of the day will be the Wielka Warszawska race over a distance of 2600 metres. 18 horses will take part in the competition, including five from abroad. Last year's winner, the stallion Bremen, will defend his title. The programme includes a total of nine prestigious races, including the Prize of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Moszna Prize, the final of the Women Power Series for female jockeys, and the UAE President Cup Central European Arabian Derby, the highest-funded race of the season. The total prize pool for the day will amount to nearly PLN 1.5 million. The Wielka Warszawska is not only sporting emotions, but also a celebration of Warsaw. Visitors will find numerous accompanying attractions, including a show of historical Warsaw fashion, a performance by the Cavalry Squadron of the Polish Army, an racing elegance competition, and a family zone with additional activities for children. Wielka Warszawska 2026 will begin on 27 September at 11:00 at the Służewiec Racecourse. The event will be broadcast on TVP Sport, Canal+ and online services, among others. Until mid-November, eleven more race days will be held at the Służewiec Racecourse, during which fans will be able to follow the competition and the development of successive generations of racing talents.
