Ciechowski. In the Mirror – Music Show at Dom Kultury Świt (paid event)

Some songs accompany us throughout our lives. We remember where we first heard them, who we sang them with, and what we felt then. The work of Grzegorz Ciechowski, the leader of Republika, belongs to this category. However, the performance "Ciechowski. W lustrze" offers something more than a concert of memories: a musical-theatrical story in which iconic songs become a key to contemporary reflections. At the center of the story are two characters who grapple with questions about identity and authenticity. Who are we when we take off our masks? Is what we show the world still us? Ciechowski's lyrics, long considered remarkably relevant, gain new meanings here and sound as if they were written yesterday. It is an experience that moves, forces you to pause, and stays with the viewer long after leaving the hall. The project is backed by a team of experienced artists. The script and direction were prepared by Adam Mortas, who also performs on stage, partnered by Rozalia Rusak or Katarzyna Mazurkiewicz. The music for the performance was arranged by Bartosz Staszkiewicz and Adam Mortas, and they are accompanied live by Rafał Rybak on keyboards. The whole is complemented by Krystian Łysoń's choreography, Katarzyna Mazurkiewicz's costumes, and a mysterious Voice from behind the stage, handled by Dymitr Hołówko. This is a proposition for everyone who enjoys theater and music, seeks an evening with reflection and emotion, and wants to rediscover Ciechowski's work. For fans of Republika, it will be a meeting with well-known emotions in a new setting, and for those less familiar with him, an opportunity to understand why his songs still move successive generations. The performance is aimed at adults and seniors. Details: 📅 October 28, 2026 (Wednesday), 7:00 PM 📍 Dom Kultury Świt, auditorium, ul. Wysockiego 11, Warszawa 🎟️ Tickets: 50–60 PLN Ciechowski.
