Reading photographic books at Służewski Dom Kultury

7.10.2026 / Wednesday / 18.00–19.30 auditorium / free admission The photobook is one of the oldest methods of reaching audiences with creative work. For several decades it has been experiencing a renaissance, with more and more authors choosing publication over exhibiting their works. Meanwhile, photobooks are read differently, they require different competencies from viewers. Guest: Marta Przybyło – art historian, photographer, curator and archivist. Graduate of Art History at UW, the Warsaw School of Photography and Gender Studies at IBL PAN. From 2009 to 2023 associated with the Archeologia Fotografii Foundation, then with the Centrum Archiwistyki Społecznej. Since 2025 she has been working in the Collections Department of the Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej Zamek Ujazdowski. She co-creates the zine collective Syreny i Glonojady. Hosted by: Joanna Kinowska.
