Birthday – family show by Theatre 21

Welcome to the Enchanted Forest, where everything that lives has its own birthday! But how do you organize a party for the whole forest when everyone dreams of something different? Birthdays is a journey full of humor, music and surprises into a world where there is no single recipe for celebrating. You can throw a birthday inside out, invite guests to sleep together, dream of great fame, or spend the day in your own company. You can also sometimes feel sadness, loneliness or anger. After all, you don't always have to be in a good mood to deserve a party. The performance invites children and adults to discover that a birthday is something more than cake, candles and presents. It is also an opportunity to remember someone we haven't seen in a long time, to notice someone's glow, to tame difficult emotions and to imagine ourselves in the future. It is also a story about time that allows us to change, and about encounters thanks to which we can see something in ourselves and others that we couldn't notice before.
