Jazz in the Bielany Forest: Grażyna Auguścik International Quartet

Grażyna Auguścik, one of the most outstanding Polish-American jazz vocalists, associated with the Chicago music scene for years, will invite the audience into a world full of subtle emotions, unconventional sounds and masterful improvisation. Her music combines tradition with modernity, jazz with folk, classical, Latin and klezmer inspirations. The artist will be accompanied by excellent musicians of the Polish and American jazz scene: Ethan Philion (double bass), Szymon Mika (guitar) and Sebastian Kuchczyński (drums). Together they create a unique space of musical dialogue in which each instrument has its own voice, and improvisation becomes a natural language of communication. During the concert we will hear compositions from Grażyna Auguścik's latest albums as well as pieces inspired by various musical traditions from around the world.
