This journey still continues - Magda Umer memorial concert

This concert is a meeting not only with the work of an artist who for years taught attentiveness to the word, silence and emotions hidden between sounds; it is above all a desire to keep Magda Umer (who died in December 2025) with us longer, so that this fragility, truth and transience would not pass. Lena Piękniewska will take care of that. Not by chance. Magda Umer, ever since they met in 2006, supported Lena and cheered her on. She accompanied her in projects and concerts. They were close. This evening is full of memories, anecdotes and stories about Magda, in the rhythm of the most beautiful songs, tunes, to which everyone is invited, because these melodies do not pass. From the countless number of songs, Lena Piękniewska chose those closest also to herself. They will include "Już szumią kasztany", "Miłość w Portofino", "Dawne zabawne", "Jeszcze w zielone gramy", "I wciąż się na coś czeka", but also the lesser-known ones, loved by Magda, such as "Luna srebrnooka", "Kołysanka dla Babci", "Czas na obłoki i las", "Senne zioła". It has been held under the honorary patronage of the President of Warsaw.
