We offer you several strong points: DEKAFKA, OR THE DISCUSSION-EXPERIMENTAL FILM-CABARET CLUB. Dekafka is made up of Kraków cabaret artists who have been grappling with the comedy stage for decades. They were brought together by the idea of doing cabaret in the old, classic style, that is, live, intimate, in constant contact with the audience, a cabaret that searches, explores themes and forms not very often represented in the popular television circuit. Lots of absurdity, a few songs, sometimes poems and of course sketches, but not necessarily about the mother-in-law, the priest and marital problems. The project's name is of course an acronym, but at the same time the colloquial name of the pre-war car brand DKV. Dekafka is each time a mostly premiere program – we show sketches written specially for this one, specific evening. The exception is the DEKAFKA NA WSTECZNYM performances, when we show the best sketches from all the programs presented so far. How do we know they are the best? Because after the performance there is a... DISCUSSION! A discussion with the audience! Yes, this has never happened before, anyone can come and complain about contemporary cabaret and about what they just saw on stage. You can also point out how far it falls short of Starszych Panów and Zielony Balonik. A REQUEST Important! Since at the end we award the audience prize, we kindly ask viewers to bring something they can give as a prize: a jar of jam, a macramé wall hanging, homemade racuchy, whatever comes to your mind. CAST Performing: Magda Caputa, Marek Grabie, Adam Grzanka, Ada Napiórkowska, Ścibor Szpak and Tomasz Zatorski, Performance by Kabaret z konopi – winner of PKS 2025 Cabaret Song "Retrospekcje" – During the 8th STOLICA Comedy Festival in Warsaw in October 2025, a special point of the program was a special concert devoted to the history of the cabaret song created since the 1990s in the Third Polish Republic. The most moving moment of the evening was the premiere of a piece dedicated to the late artist Joanna Kołaczkowska – "Piosenka o Joannie, a nie Andrzeja". The concert connected generations of creators and showed how much the Polish joke and political satire have changed after 1989. In 2026, taking advantage of the enormous success of this project, which was also successfully presented at other cabaret festivals in Poland, the organizers have prepared a new edition of the concert entitled Cabaret Song "Retrospekcje". This time the artists will reach much deeper, to the beginnings of cabaret. Works of cult pre-war cabarets, those from the PRL era, and selected contemporary satirical pieces will be presented. On stage we will again see Klub Szyderców BIS, and, this time as host, Jarek Marek Sobański. The concert will also feature invited festival participants and invited guests, including Arkadiusz Lipnicki, Kabaret Z Konopi and artists associated with the Kraków initiative DeKaFKa. It will certainly be an unforgettable evening. Full of emotion, humor, satire, vocal raptures, during which the artists will present a repertoire well known in completely new interpretations, but will also allow the discovery of excellent and often forgotten pieces.
