Grupa MoCarta – ALE KINO! or film music according to Grupa MoCarta (paid event)

Cinema is today the most popular of the arts, and film music is its heart. Melodies performed by symphony orchestras draw from the tradition of Bach, Mozart and Chopin, and we often don't realize that we've been humming them for years. The MoCarta Group decided to devote an entire evening to them and show this world in a way you won't see in any multiplex. "ALE KINO!" is a playful look at timeless film music hits, during which you'll meet among others Charlie Chaplin, Woody Allen, Tom Hanks and a character the organizers describe as the biggest loser of world cinema. For some it's an opportunity to reminisce about favorite scenes and motifs, for others an adventure in the world of film that still holds many secrets. The program offers a history of cinema told with a wink, low-budget special effects on par with Hollywood blockbusters, a dancing Lord Vader and plenty of wonderful music. The whole is served with the masterful sense of humor for which the quartet is famous, composed of: Paweł Kowaluk, Bolesław Błaszczyk, Michał Sikorski and Filip Jaślar. This is a proposition for everyone who likes music and good fun. It works as an evening for two, an outing with friends, or an idea for a family trip for older youth and seniors. You don't have to be a film buff, because it's enough to know just a few film melodies, and you'll leave the hall humming more.
