Hashtag Lab: Encore

What is love? Is it possible to fully understand another person, to transcend one's own separateness and achieve true unity? "Encore" tackles these questions, treating love not merely as a personal experience or emotion, but above all as a primordial, creative force. A force that compels a person to go beyond themselves, to cross the boundaries of their own "I" and seek closeness. In Liwia Bargieł's choreography, love becomes a space of constant tension between the desire for union and the inevitable separateness of the other person. On stage, Liwia Bargieł-Kiełbowicz and Stanisław Bulder build a narrative through movement, gesture and mutual relations, attempting to express experiences that elude words. An integral part of the performance is live music by Lucia Długoszewski – a Polish-American composer whose work defies traditional divisions between music, movement and sound experiment. The performance will be presented as a guest show at Przestrzeń Muzyki Współczesnej Hashtag Lab.
