Caravaggio – the artist who “painted with blood” On Thursday, 29 October 2026 at 6:00 PM, we invite you to the Reading Room and Scientific Lending Library No. VI for the fourth lecture by Dr. Adam Tyszkiewicz from the series devoted to the great artists of all time. This time we will hear about the outstanding work and turbulent life of Michelangelo Merisi, known as Caravaggio. Dr. Adam Tyszkiewicz – employee of the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies at UW. A graduate of archaeology and art history at UW. Member of the Association of Art Historians and the Association of Museologists, a Warsaw guide. He also completed postgraduate Tourism Managers Studies at SGH in Warsaw and postgraduate Varsavianistic Studies at UW. Author of books on historical topics. Admission free
