Cinema again in Ursynów – October screenings

October repertoire of “Kino znów na Ursynowie” 5 October, 6:30 p.m. – “Vivaldi i ja”, dir. Damiano Michieletto, sala Szekspir 12 October, 6:30 p.m. – “Drugie życie”, dir. Emilia Śniegoska, sala Bareja All screenings will take place at UCK “Alternatywy”, ul. I. Gandhi 9. “Vivaldi i ja” – 5 October The first October offering will be “Vivaldi i ja” directed by Damiano Michieletto (France, Italy 2025). It is a colorful and music-filled story about one of the most outstanding composers in history – Antonio Vivaldi. The film was made with the participation of the producers of such pictures as “Wielkie piękno” and “Młodość”. To take part in the draw for two single admission cards, send an application between 25–29 September via the website kulturalny.ursynow.warszawa.pl. Those drawn will receive an email on 30 September with information about the date and place of collecting the cards. Those who are not drawn will be able to use uncollected cards. Their distribution will begin on 5 October at 5:00 p.m. at the Main Information Desk of the Ursynów District Office at Al. KEN 61. “Drugie życie” – 12 October The protagonist of the film is María Ángeles, who has lived for forty years in a sunny apartment in the heart of Moroccan Tangier. It is a place that for decades has witnessed her love, daily rituals and her whole life – recorded in the walls, furniture and small gestures. Admission tickets for the screening will be distributed on 12 October from 5:00 p.m. at the Main Information Desk of the Ursynów District Office at Al. KEN 61. “Niebo nad Normandią” – 27 October The film takes viewers to June 1944. Seventy-two hours before the Normandy landings, the fate of the world depends on one of the most unpredictable factors – the weather. The story shows war not only as a series of battles, but also as a time of strategic decisions whose consequences can be felt by millions of people. To take part in the draw for two single admission cards, send an application between 16–21 October on the website . The results of the draw will be communicated on 22 October by email, together with information about the date and place of collecting the cards. Uncollected admission cards will be distributed on 27 October from 5:00 p.m. at the Main Information Desk of the Ursynów District Office at Al. KEN 61. “Kumotry” – 29 October This is the story of the friendship of women living in a dying Polish village located in the Romanian Carpathians. Hanka and Bronka have already buried their husbands, and their children have gone abroad in search of other, better prospects. The film tells about friendship, passing time and life in a place from which successive generations leave. Admission tickets for the screening will be distributed on 29 October from 5:00 p.m. at the Main Information Desk of the Ursynów District Office at Al. KEN 61. “Kino znów na Ursynowie” is organized as part of the 2026 Civic Budget.
