Accordion and Strings" concert from the "Virtuosi" series

Since its debut in 2018, the ensemble has presented a diverse repertoire – from classical music, through tango, to film music – and regularly invites outstanding soloists to perform together. This time, the orchestra will be accompanied by Klaudiusz Baran – one of the most outstanding Polish accordionists, a virtuoso of the accordion and bandoneon, winner of Fryderyk awards and professor at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. A special place in his artistic activity is occupied by Argentine tango, especially the works of Astor Piazzolla. "Accordion and Strings" will combine the sound of a string orchestra with the expression of the accordion and bandoneon. The programme will include works by, among others, Astor Piazzolla, Richard Galliano, Ángel Villoldo, Jacob Gade and Stanisław Wielanek. Hosted by: Malina Sarnowska. The project is co-financed by the Ursynów District. Free tickets available at the "Alternatywy" reception and online.
