A virtuoso of the feuilleton in song, a coy and contrarian master of rhymes and metaphors, still a surprisingly fresh and revelatory creator of beautifully simple melodies. This evening will be an unforgettable event. From the output of nearly 700 songs, the Artist has selected an ideal set: well-known hits (such as "Kup sobie psa", "Z tylu chmur", "Małgocha") as well as captivating premieres. There will certainly also be anecdotes, improvisations and surprises. And most likely it won't be possible to fit within the planned 90 minutes. Piotr Bukartyk is an absolutely unique figure in the world of Polish song. On the one hand, a bit of a jester and - as he himself says - "a musician with his own chair". On the other hand - for many - a contemporary Stańczyk. A brilliant commentator, honest (sometimes painfully so), not avoiding sharp and bold reflections. A star of Woodstock and Pol'and'Rock, and at the same time a surprisingly shy balladeer. A friend of Jurek Owsiak and Wojciech Mann. Adored by outstanding artists, but caring for every audience member at a concert, even in the smallest club. An excellent author and composer of the songs he performs, for years he has eluded simple classifications, mixing musical styles with predilection and surprising taste. The word-and-music cocktail prepared in this way seasons with captivating monologues - spicy, but not crossing the boundaries of good taste. Come and try it for sure! Meanwhile, the musicians forming the group Ajagore are long-time friends from Kociewie and at the same time excellent instrumentalists. They don't confine themselves within any stylistic frames. They find themselves perfectly in the broad space from jazz, through R&B, folk and country, all the way to our folk traditions. On a daily basis they also accompany Grażyna Łobaszewska on her musical journey. The collaboration of Piotr Bukartyk and Ajagore has borne unusual fruit: a friendship has formed, and not only a musical one. And when we add to this an uncompromising view of reality and witty commentary on current events - we get a phenomenon absolutely unparalleled on today's stage.
