We invite you to the next concert in the series "Kulturalne Bemowo – The 1980s," on Saturday, November 7, in the auditorium at ul. Konarskiego 20, at 6:00 PM.
Around the world, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Prince, Tina Turner, and Phil Collins become the biggest icons. It is a time of maximally recognizable melodies and spectacular pop music, driven by the development of MTV. In Poland, the music scene is exceptionally broad – from rock (Maanam, Perfect, Lady Pank, Lombard) to pop and stage music, represented by Zbigniew Wodecki, Irena Jarocka, and Alicja Majewska. The decade is characterized by a strong rhythm, distinctive sound, and a characteristic style of arrangement.
The concert of the Krzysztof Brzeziński Orchestra with the participation of Wiktoria Krakowska and Jakub Kamiński will transport the Bemowo audience into the dynamic and colorful world of 1980s music. Arrangements inspired by the era will use electronic synthesizer sounds, electric guitars, and a powerful rhythm section, creating the characteristic atmosphere of the pop and rock music of that decade. Computer elements will expand the sound with layers typical of the 1980s – pads, samples, and spatial effects, fully capturing the aesthetic of the productions of that time.
Wiktoria Krakowska – Musical artist, vocal pedagogue, graduate of the Academy of Music in Poznań, actively performing on concert and theater stages. Winner of many music festivals, finalist of Szansa na sukces (2021), and participant in the 13th edition of The Voice of Poland.
Jakub Kamiński – Musical actor, graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. In 2021, he made his debut at the Studio Buffo theater in the legendary production "Metro," and then quickly joined other musical titles in other theaters across Poland.
