We invite you to another concert in the series "Kulturalne Bemowo – The 1970s," on Saturday, October 24, in the auditorium at ul. Konarskiego 20, at 6:00 PM. We invite you to another concert in the series "Musical Decades of the 20th Century." This time we will travel to the colorful and incredibly diverse 1970s – a decade dominated by captivating disco rhythms, timeless ballads, and hits still present today on dance floors and radio airwaves. The 1970s were a time of colorful, melodic, and spectacular entertainment music. ABBA, Queen, Elton John, Bee Gees, David Bowie, and Fleetwood Mac ruled the world, while disco and pop-rock gained enormous popularity. At the same time, progressive rock, funk, and dance music developed, and arrangements became increasingly elaborate and distinctive. In Poland, the golden era of the stage was in full swing – the works of Anna Jantar, Zbigniew Wodecki, Andrzej Zaucha, Urszula Sipińska, and the later repertoire of Czesław Niemen. It is an incredibly diverse decade full of musical momentum. Patrycja Parjaszewska and Krzysztof Brzeziński Orchestra will perform on stage. The artists will recall the greatest Polish and international hits of those years, presenting them in spectacular arrangements performed entirely live. It will be an evening full of energy, emotion, and musical memories. The audience will hear songs that created the atmosphere of the 1970s, accompanied important moments, and became permanently inscribed in the history of entertainment music. The series "Kulturalne Bemowo - Musical Decades of the 20th Century" comprises eight themed concerts, each dedicated to one of the successive decades — from the 1920s all the way to the 1990s. It is a coherent, thoughtfully crafted journey through nearly a hundred years of Polish and international music, showcasing the changing styles, sounds, culture, and greatest hits of each era.
