Forest adventure – family survival at the Culture Park in Powsin

We invite families with children from around 6-7 years old. No prior experience is needed. All you need is the willingness to have fun together, learn, and spend time outdoors. Participation in the activities is free of charge. Learning and fun in the forest During the activities, participants will learn the basic rules of navigating in the field. They will learn how to use a map, compass, and orienteering compass, and then test their skills during exercises in the forest. The program will also include learning basic knots, building a family shelter, striking and lighting a fire, and learning ways to obtain and filter water. At the end, each group will face a practical field rally with control points and tasks to complete. We want it to be, above all, good fun and an opportunity for parents and children to work together. The rally will be adapted to the age of the participants. It is not about covering the greatest possible distance, but about completing the tasks along the route. Participants will have to demonstrate attentiveness, cooperation, and use the knowledge gained during the earlier activities.
