A series of travel workshops with Marta Łęgowik - traveler, certified dance instructor, master of aviation, foreign language enthusiast.
The meetings combine various elements: a photo show, interesting stories and travel anecdotes, cultural curiosities, as well as active activities such as learning a dance characteristic of a given country, and basic phrases in a foreign language. The workshops are enriched with tastings and creative manual activities that support the fitness and motor coordination of participants. Each meeting is a unique opportunity to discover the world together — without having to leave the room.
Iceland - a land painted in purple
This will be an extraordinary journey. This time we will go to Iceland, an island that enchants not only with majestic views, but also with fascinating legends!
This trip will be a bit different from others. Why? Because it will be presented through the eyes of a traveler who not only had the pleasure of exploring it far and wide, but also lived and worked there.
A few words from the host, Marta Łęgowik - owner of PLANeta Podróży:
"During the workshops I will talk about Iceland from my own perspective. I lived there for six months, working at a ballet school and at Keflavik airport. Thanks to this, I will show Iceland not only as a tourist destination, but also as a place of everyday life.
Participants can look forward to:
A photo show that will be an opportunity to get to know Iceland from a slightly different side. I will tell you what life on the island looks like, what Icelanders are like, and what the life of Poles in emigration looks like. There will be no shortage of anecdotes and stories from my stay, such as:
- an adventure with a nosy ram;
- an attack by Icelandic birds;
- damage to an airplane caused by an airport employee;
- mishaps while hitchhiking.
Fascinating curiosities about Icelandic beliefs. Participants will find out whether Icelanders really believe in elves and hidden beings.
Learning the Icelandic language.
Travel tips - answers to the questions: "How to plan a trip around Iceland", "What is worth seeing", "How best to get around the island", "What mistakes to avoid?"
Creative work inspired by the land of fire and ice.
A tasting inspired by Icelandic specialties.
A small gift.
It will be a meeting full of knowledge, photos, curiosities, anecdotes, language, flavors and personal stories with Iceland - the kind you can't always experience during an ordinary trip!
