Mietek Szcześniak sings for the Hospice! A Unique Charity Concert

On October 22 at 19:00 in the Auditorium Hall of the Bielany District Office we will meet to celebrate three decades of beautiful, selfless service to others and to do something good together. Admission to the event is free (free entry passes are required), but each of us will be able to become part of this moving story. For thirty years, employees and volunteers of the home hospice have been proving that medicine is not everything – sometimes the most important thing is presence, holding a hand, and easing not only physical pain when strength fades. Doctors, nurses, and psychologists enter the homes of terminally ill people every day, bringing them dignity, peace, and a sense of security in their most difficult, final moments. These are thirty years of building bridges of love between the sick and their loved ones. We want to honor this beautiful anniversary as beautifully as we can. Our guide through the world of music will be Mietek Szcześniak – an artist with an extraordinary voice who, with his sensitivity, can touch the deepest recesses of the soul. He will be accompanied on stage by outstanding musicians: Janusz Strobel (acoustic guitar), Marcin Pospieszalski (bass guitar), and Adam Lemańczyk (keyboard instruments). Together they will create an evening full of reflection and warm, human closeness. The concert is a thank-you for 30 years of work, but also a call for further support. The goal is exceptionally noble – during the event, funds will be collected to allow the hospice to continue operating, to buy medicines and medical equipment for its charges.
