There are compositions that, despite the passage of centuries, still manage to move, inspire and provoke reflection. It is from these that the classical music concert organized in Mokotów will be composed. On Sunday evening, 4 October, residents will be able to hear works by the greatest composers of various eras and styles. The program will include works by, among others, Johann Sebastian Bach, Fryderyk Chopin, Johannes Brahms, Jules Massenet, Johann and Josef Strauss, Aram Khachaturian, Sergei Prokofiev and John Rutter.
The concert will be preceded by a lecture devoted to the presented works and their composers. This will be an opportunity to learn interesting facts related to the creation of the compositions and to better understand the context of works that for generations have occupied an important place in world cultural heritage. The Chamber Orchestra Filharmonia will perform on stage under the artistic direction of Jan Lewtak.
The concert will take place on 4 October 2026 (Sunday) at 7:30 PM at the Church of Our Lady of the Angels at ul. Modzelewskiego 98A in Warsaw.
Admission to the event is free. This is a perfect opportunity to spend an autumn evening in a unique atmosphere and rediscover the beauty of music that has delighted listeners for centuries. We warmly invite the residents of Mokotów and all lovers of classical music.
