A poetic tale for children about the fact that you don't have to be perfect at all "Pięciu Nieudanych" is a performance for children full of humor, imagination and a wise message, which in a light and accessible way shows that you don't have to be perfect at all to be happy. It is a colorful story aimed at the youngest viewers, but carrying a message that can be equally important for adults. The performance was inspired by Beatrice Alemagna's book "Pięciu Nieudanych", awarded the Liber Prize for the best Italian book of 2014. Its extraordinary characters – Dziurawy, Złożony na pół, Sflaczały, Postawiony na głowie and Felerny – are definitely not perfect. Each has their own weaknesses, but instead of worrying about them, they can laugh at them and enjoy life. Everything changes when Idealna appears, who decides to introduce the characters to the world of perfection, efficiency and technology. Will she manage to convince them that they should change? Or maybe it is she who will discover that being perfect is not a recipe for happiness at all? The performance combines pantomime, dance, acrobatics, clowning and word theater, creating a colorful, dynamic spectacle. A special role is played by its extraordinary visual layer – five huge costumes transform the actors into fairy-tale, theatrical puppet-like characters that instantly attract the attention of the youngest and encourage them to react vividly and interact. Under the light and fun form lies an important story about self-acceptance, self-worth and respect for diversity. "Pięciu Nieudanych" reminds children and adults that it is not worth comparing yourself to others or giving in to the pressure of being the best. It is a performance that entertains, stimulates the imagination and leaves viewers with a simple but extremely important thought: we don't have to be perfect to be valuable and happy.
