Invisible Baggage: How Experiences from Home Affect Adult Life?

Each of us carries a certain baggage of experiences from our family home. It is made up not only of precious memories and values, but also of emotions, fears and beliefs that can affect our relationships, decisions and the way we react to everyday situations. The workshop "Invisible Baggage, or How Experiences from Home Shape Us in Adult Life" will be an opportunity to look at the mechanisms that shaped us from our earliest years and that often unconsciously accompany us in adulthood as well. Participants will talk about family patterns, automatic emotional reactions, setting boundaries and ways of gradually introducing changes in areas that no longer serve them. The meeting will not be about judging or looking for those to blame. Its goal is to better understand ourselves and to realize that the experiences we carry from home do not have to determine our future. The workshop will be led by Denis Sokołowski.
