New book: The Lesser Son

The heroes of the book are three brothers whose paths diverged years ago. When their father, the owner of ten grocery stores, falls ill and can no longer work, the middle son calls the others for help. The family crisis becomes the starting point for a story about responsibility, closeness, and the roles assigned to us in childhood. The author of "Family Tapes" and "Zodiac Signs" combines a fairy-tale narrative with stark realism. He examines men – fathers, sons, and brothers – who try to find a common language.
