New book: Tobiasz and the Big Leaf

Nowy Teatr invites you to a meeting around the latest novel by Inga Iwasiów, “Tobiasz i wielki liść,” published by Wydawnictwo Filtry. It is a story about a sixty-year-old female professor struggling with professional burnout, loneliness, and relapses of addiction. Her life is unexpectedly changed by Tobiasz – a timid rabbit of the lop breed, who becomes much more than a domestic pet. Shared everyday life teaches the protagonist mindfulness and tenderness, brings order to her world, and opens her to new experiences. Combining realistic narration with dreamlike visions, Inga Iwasiów creates a story full of humor and emotion about the relationship between a human and an animal, rebuilding meaning, and regaining joy from everyday life.
