New Theatre: Family Encounters with New Music

Can a wardrobe and a rubber duck play together with a double bass, oboe and bassoon? Nowy Teatr invites children aged 5–9 and their guardians to musical experiments with musicians from the Chain Ensemble chamber orchestra. The November meeting will be an opportunity to discover unusual sounds and check whether any object can become an instrument. Through play, shared listening and sound experiments, participants will explore the world of contemporary music. It is an invitation to fire up the imagination, listen attentively and experience musical discoveries as a family. The workshops are part of a series organized by the Witold Lutosławski Society, which once a month turns Nowy Teatr into a space for meetings between the youngest listeners and new music.
