On online pathology. Is AI a threat?
November 20, 2026, 18:30
On November 20, Bemowskie Centrum Kultury at 6:30 PM invites you to a meeting on the topic
Does AI pose a threat?
How does the development of artificial intelligence affect online security? What opportunities does it open, and what challenges does it pose for internet users and institutions responsible for cybersecurity? We invite you to a meeting devoted to AI and the changes this technology brings to our digital environment.
The special guest will be Daniel Kierepka, Director of the IT and Telecommunications Division at NASK-PIB. In a short lecture portion, he will introduce the specifics of working at the institution and the scope of his responsibilities. He will also talk about how the development of artificial intelligence has affected NASK's activities and what changes in procedures and daily work are associated with the development of this technology.
Next, there will be a conversation led by the creators of Tytanowy Cast and Dama Kier. The interview will be an opportunity to examine the opportunities and threats related to AI, as well as to discuss the role of institutions in responding to new technological challenges. The starting point will be the titular question: does AI pose a threat, and what does the answer depend on?
This will be the last meeting in the series "O patologii w sieci." We want to conclude it with a conversation with a guest whose knowledge and professional experience will allow us to look at digital security from the perspective of NASK-PIB's practical operations. We warmly invite both those who accompanied us during previous events and those who will join for the first time - let's close together the series devoted to conscious and responsible use of the internet.
We invite everyone interested in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the impact of new technologies on everyday life. The meeting will allow you to learn the perspective of a person working at NASK-PIB and better understand how the development of AI translates into the institution's practical operations.
Admission is free. Reservation of seats is required on the website.
