Educational projects - inspirations. Local histories

During the workshop, participants will learn the basic tools of community archiving. They will learn how to prepare students for conversations with witnesses to history, how to conduct interviews, and how to organize and develop the collected materials. The meeting will also be devoted to documenting memories, photographs, and family keepsakes. Participants will see how to create local archives from such materials and how to use their resources in educational projects. An important topic will also be intergenerational dialogue. Working with oral history can help students better understand the experiences of older generations and build relationships based on attentive listening and the exchange of experiences.
