Open stage at Kadra

Friday 2.10.2026, 19:00 room: Broadway admission: free, seat reservation online or at DK Kadr duration of the event: approx. 90 minutes As part of the "Open Call 2026" project, a unique concert by the SZTOS Theatre Ensemble will take place, presenting original songs from the musical performances "M kontra S" and "Sen nocy letniej". It will be an evening full of emotions, energy and diverse sounds, in which classical literature meets the modern form of musical. "M kontra S" is a dynamic, full of humour and tension story about the life and creative rivalry of Adam Mickiewicz and Juliusz Słowacki. The songs from this performance reveal their ambitions, dreams, conflicts and inner dilemmas – from light, ironic numbers to moving, reflective ballads. In turn, the pieces from "Sen nocy letniej", inspired by William Shakespeare's play, transport the audience into a magical world of love, illusion and dream. These are stories about infatuation, jealousy and being lost, told through atmospheric music and multi-voice arrangements. For the members of the ensemble, the concert has special significance. It is not only an opportunity to present the results of many months of creative work, but also a space for artistic development and self-expression. The original songs are the result of their commitment, sensitivity and collaboration – from the first ideas to the final performances on stage.
