Carriage ride for "clothes" in Rembertów

The talk will be a story full of curiosities and humor about the realities of life in the capital in the era described by Wiechecki, that is, at the beginning of the 20th century and after World War II. The event will be led by Piotr Giergot, who will introduce the audience to the figure and work of "Wiech," an artist merited for the folklore of Warsaw, also known as the "Homer of the Warsaw street." The host will also present the characteristic Warsaw dialect and explain where "Wiech" looked for inspiration for his literary works. The meeting will be held as part of Warsaw Senior Days, on the initiative of the Rembertów Senior Academy and the Senior Council of the Rembertów District of the Capital City of Warsaw. A special guest will appear at it, a representative of "Wiech's" family - Mr. Jacek Wiechecki. Everyone interested - the young, the older, and the oldest - is warmly welcome! Admission is free.
