Many entrepreneurs mistakenly assume that an entry in CEIDG or KRS or the purchase of an internet domain ensures exclusive rights to the brand. Meanwhile, the priority to a trademark is determined primarily by the date of its filing. During the meeting we will learn: What does trademark registration actually give? How to check whether the chosen name does not infringe the rights of other entities? When is protection in the Urząd Patentowy RP sufficient, and when is it worth using EU registration in EUIPO? What mistakes do entrepreneurs most often make when building and protecting a brand? How to react when someone uses or impersonates your brand? The lecture will be based on practical examples from the daily activity of the law firm and real situations that entrepreneurs face.
