November 13, 2026, 18:00 · ZODIAK Warszawski Pawilon Architektury · ZODIAK Warszawski Pawilon Architektury
During the event, we will present selected student projects and models. Among the projects will be, among others, intergenerational activity centers, schools, as well as other buildings with social functions, such as community centers.
The meeting will be not only an opportunity to learn about student projects, but also to talk about architecture that responds to the real needs of users. During the discussion panel, we will consider what the path from concept to implementation looks like and what makes a building truly become a place for the local community.
The event will combine the perspective of students, practicing architects, as well as people connected with the daily functioning of local activity places.
The meeting will be led by:
dr inż. arch. Hanna Malik-Trocha
architect, as well as an academic teacher at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology, conducting classes related to designing for local communities, universal design and accessibility of the built environment.
Lech Ulijasz – CAM Nowolipie
his perspective related to social participation, the service design approach and the daily functioning of a place created for the local community will be an important complement to the conversation about designing this type of facility.
The discussion will include:
Dorota Sibińska – XYstudio
Konrad Basan – BRD Architekci
Piotr Bujnowski – Bujnowski Architekci
Małgorzata Kania – student of the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology
Damian Bus – student of the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology

Architectural accessibility:
The event will take place on the ground floor of the building, which you will enter from sidewalk level. The entrance door opens automatically outward. If you use a wheelchair or a stroller, the building is fully accessible to you. Inside there is an elevator that will take you to all levels of the building. On the ground floor, near the meeting place, you will find toilets, including a bathroom with a baby changing table adapted to the needs of people with mobility difficulties.
How to get to the event?
Location: You will find our pavilion in the very center of the city at Pasaż Stefana Wiecheckiego „Wiecha” 4 in Warsaw. The entrance inside is located directly from the side of the square in front of the building.
Public transport: Just 250 meters from the building there are bus and tram stops and a metro station. All these stops are marked with the name "Centrum".
Bicycle: You can comfortably reach the pavilion via bicycle routes that lead to Widok street. Right next to the building entrance we have prepared 24 bicycle parking spaces for you.
Car: We do not have our own parking lot, and direct access to the entrance is not possible, so look for the nearest available spaces on Widok street. Additionally, on Chmielna street, in the immediate vicinity of the pavilion, you will find 2 parking spaces for people with disabilities.
Evacuation:
The building is equipped with clear directional signs and sound signals that will help you in case of evacuation. On the ground floor you will find 4 emergency exits, thanks to which you will quickly leave the facility. Once you are outside, head to Pasaż Stefana Wiecheckiego „Wiecha”, as that is where the assembly point for evacuated persons has been designated.
