Walk around Old Praga

Lokalny System Wsparcia na Targówku invites you to another walk around the center of Praga – this time the area east of Targowa street will be explored. Known and unknown places and buildings will be shown. Participants will hear about the history of this part of Warsaw, its residents and important events. During the walk we will visit, among others, the Różycki bazaar, Szmulowizna, the area around Monopol (Koneser), Brzeska street, and the Basilica on Kawęczyńska. We will also hear stories about the Powstanie na Pradze and see the longest residential building in Warsaw. We invite all interested persons to participate, especially parents with children. When: October 17, 2026, 3:00 PM–5:00 PM Meeting place: 3:00 PM, corner of Targowa and Ząbkowska, at the exit from the underground passage and the building at Targowa 60. Participation in the walk is free of charge, prior registration is required. Registrations can be sent to: [email protected]. In the registration, please provide: – family surname, – the school attended by the child/children, – number of participants (children and adults), – contact phone number.
