Seedlings for E-Waste at Targówek

The event will take place on October 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Targówek District Office of the Capital City of Warsaw, ul. Kondratowicza 20 (parking lot from ul. 20. Dywizjonu Piechoty WP). This year's campaign will be special because we have prepared for you: garden plants, including blueberry, hosta, Chinese silver grass, butterfly bush, purple coneflower, narrow-leaved lavender, ground cover rose, bud-blooming heather, panicle hydrangea, intermediate yew, garden chrysanthemum, catmint, tulip bulbs, daffodil bulbs, Asiatic lily bulbs, and tree lily bulbs; house flowers, including African violet; fruit plants, including blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, and serviceberry; herbs – mint and basil. The campaign is organized in cooperation with ElektroEko – Organizacja Odzysku Sprzętu Elektrycznego i Elektronicznego S.A. Educational attractions have also been prepared for children and young people. By taking part in games and activities, they will be able to gain knowledge about the proper handling of e-waste. Rules for granting coupons Participants who bring waste will receive coupons according to the conversion rate below. Used electrical and electronic equipment: small equipment (e.g., hair dryer, mixer) – 1 coupon; medium equipment (e.g., microwave, vacuum cleaner, computer) – 2 coupons; large equipment (e.g., refrigerator, washing machine, TV min. 28”) – 3 coupons. Batteries / e-cigarettes: 30 pieces – 1 coupon. Coupons will be issued from 10:00 a.m. until the pool of seedlings is exhausted, but no later than 2:00 p.m. Coupon-to-seedling conversion rate 1 COUPON = 1 seedling: mint, basil, African violet, strawberry, tulip bulbs, daffodil bulbs, Asiatic lily bulbs, or tree lily bulbs. 2 COUPONS = 1 seedling: blueberry, hosta, Chinese silver grass, butterfly bush, purple coneflower, lavender, ground cover rose, bud-blooming heather, panicle hydrangea, intermediate yew, garden chrysanthemum, catmint, raspberry, or serviceberry.
