Heart to Heart: Sewing Rehabilitation Pillows Together at WCK Anin Branch

The project has been running for over 7 years and involves sewing heart-shaped pillows that support the rehabilitation of patients after mastectomy at every stage – both immediately after surgery and in the later period. Removal of lymph nodes disrupts lymph circulation. Wearing the pillow under the arm causes swelling to decrease or disappear. The pillow can alleviate surgical incision pain, protect against accidental impacts, help reduce swelling and lessen shoulder tension. We invite everyone – adults, children, youth and seniors. Every pair of hands is useful, for sewing but also for counting, stuffing pillows or packing them. We provide fabrics and all necessary accessories.
