Woolen Good Morning: Weaving workshop - small weaving form

During the meeting you will create your own wool miniature, wall decoration, coaster or element of a larger fabric. Together we will learn the basics of working on a weaving frame, learn how to properly set up the warp and guide the weft, and discover various weaves, textures and colors of soft wool. Participants of previous spinning workshops are encouraged to bring their own hand-spun yarn. This is a perfect opportunity to weave it into your unique, miniature tapestry. Working at weaving frames is not only learning a traditional craft. It is also a space for quieting down, developing patience and manual dexterity, and building neighborly relationships. For whom? For everyone who has a free morning and wants to spend time creatively. We invite senior women and senior men, parents, freelancers and every person who wants to try something new. No prior weaving experience is required.
