School of Critical Thinking and Countering Disinformation

During the workshop, participants will learn about ready-made scenarios and worksheets that can be used in everyday teaching, especially in humanities subjects. They will also learn how to modify materials to adapt them to the needs of their own students. An important element of the meeting will be developing the language and competences needed to hold conversations with young people on difficult and controversial topics. Participants will also organize the basic concepts related to disinformation and media education. This will make it easier for them to plan lessons devoted to critical thinking and conscious use of information. The workshop will be led by Dr. Karol Jachymek. The Centrum Cyfrowe Foundation's project "School of Critical Thinking and Combating Disinformation" is financed and implemented as part of an open competition of the Ministry of Digital Affairs.
