Sinfonia Varsovia

The third edition of the series in 2026 has the subtitle "The Musical Kitchen of the Classics" and over three evenings (October 4 and November 14 and 28) will reveal to listeners the foundations of classical musical forms at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries as well as... the cuisine of that time, whose rules were taking shape at roughly the same period. So not only classical musical forms, such as sonata form, rondo, variations and serenade, but also beer soup, veal cutlet, almond tart and looooots of coffee. In the series, alongside the music of the so-called three Viennese classics (Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven), works by earlier composers will also be heard - Johann Sebastian Bach and Georg Philipp Telemann. The concerts will be hosted by Łukasz Strusiński, head of the programming department of Sinfonia Varsovia.
