Slide show - The Grand Canyon from the river's perspective

Slajdowisko - Kasia Biernacka - The Grand Canyon of the Colorado from the perspective of the river As part of the series "Slajdowisko. Travels in culture" we warmly invite you to a meeting with Kasia Biernacka entitled "The Grand Canyon of the Colorado from the perspective of the river" A month-long rafting trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. Almost 450 kilometres covered on the water by several pontoons and a dozen or so people (almost) without contact with the outside world, but in extraordinary natural surroundings. So it will be a slide show and a story about vertical walls, rapid rapids, traces of former inhabitants, gypsum flowers, ancient bats... And since over a month various things can happen, it will also be about capsizes, broken paddles and a certain surprising rescue operation. But above all about the extraordinary place on Earth that is the Grand Canyon. "Slajdowisko. Travels in culture" is a series of travel meetings organised by the Dom Kultury Włochy in Warsaw.
