Again Really Great at Arena Ursynów!

Strasznie Fajny Piknik has firmly settled into the calendar of Ursynów events. Every year, Arena Ursynów turns into a place full of ghosts, witches, vampires, superheroes and other extraordinary creatures for one day. This year will be no different – the organizers have prepared six hours of family fun and a whole set of strasznie fajne attractions. – Strasznie Fajny Piknik is an event that combines family fun, movement and creativity. We have prepared plenty of attractions for both the youngest and slightly older children – from physical activities, through creative workshops, to many surprises that will make this day full of positive energy. We want it to be an opportunity to spend time together, integrate as a family and build neighbourly relations – says Jakub Berent, Deputy Mayor of Ursynów. Giant inflatables and a strasznie fajny maze In the main hall of Arena Ursynów you will be able to let off steam on a gigantic slide and a great obstacle course, and the brave will face the Halloween maze – the Strasznie Fajny Tunnel. There will also be no shortage of attractions for those who prefer creating to jumping. Workshops on making ghosts, fairy-tale characters and little animals, as well as face painting, are planned. The Social Welfare Centre of the Ursynów District will also prepare its own attractions. A dynamic animation programme will run in the hall throughout the day. Among them will be, among others, Halloween quizzes and competitions, games with a Klanza parachute, obstacle courses, tug of war, dexterity contests, building a giant tower and dance games. Who will become the coolest monster of Ursynów? At 1:00 p.m. the competition for the most interesting costumes will begin. Ghosts, vampires and witches are of course welcome, but the only limit is the participants' imagination. The costumes will be judged by a jury composed of: Marek Kałużyński – Deputy Director of the Ursynów Cultural Centre "Alternatywy", Marcin Dudek – Director of the Social Welfare Centre of the Ursynów District of the Capital City of Warsaw, Piotr Kondratowicz – Director of the Ursynów Centre for Sport and Recreation, Agnieszka Miękwicz – Councillor of the Capital City of Warsaw and Michał Bartosik – Councillor of the Ursynów District of the Capital City of Warsaw. Prizes await the authors of the most interesting creations. Pumpkins go under the knife One of the most liked attractions of Strasznie Fajny Piknik will receive its own space this year. Pumpkin carving workshops will be held in the underground car park of Arena Ursynów. You will be able to create your own pumpkin decoration – scary, funny or completely unique. A separate land for the youngest The organizers also thought about younger children. A special, calmer toddler zone will be created in the training and conference room. It will feature a pneumatic playground, a ball pit, interactive toys, ride-on cars and a board of dreams and activities. The youngest will also be able to decorate pumpkins, paint, use face painting and take part in workshops prepared by the Social Welfare Centre. Strasznie fajna fun can sharpen the appetite A food zone will also await participants. The Social Welfare Centre of the Ursynów District will provide free cotton candy and popcorn, and free military pea soup will also await all willing. Free hot dogs can be won in the competitions. Food stalls and a pastry shop will also be operating on site. Strasznie Fajny Piknik will take place on Sunday, 25 October 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Arena Ursynów at ul. Pileckiego 122. Admission to the event is free.
