Pine – Master of Survival! – Dendrology Field Game

Participants will take on the role of nature detectives and during a forest investigation will carry out tasks related to learning about the pine tree. The goal of the game is to obtain the "Pine Code" by discovering the traits that allow this species to survive even in difficult conditions. During the game, you will be able to learn, among other things: why the pine tree has needles instead of broad leaves, how it copes on poor soils, how it withstands periodic water shortages, what role the thick bark plays, how it disperses its seeds, why it is an important element of the forest ecosystem. The game combines dendrological education with outdoor activity and direct observation of nature. It will be led by a team from the Agencja Promocji Zieleni of the Zarząd Zieleni Warszawy.
