#StudenciNaScenę, or theater after hours

#StudenciNaScenę is a nationwide festival for those who make theatre between classes, work and everyday duties. For five days, the Warsaw audience will watch their performances, talk with the creators and decide for themselves who will win the Grand Prix. The programme of the first edition combines very different forms: from drama performed in the Greater Poland dialect to physical theatre, performance and an intimate monodrama. One thing connects them all – each of these performances was born out of the need to tell something of one's own. The festival will begin on 6 and end on 10 November. At the finale, the audience will see the performance GEOMETRIA PROPAGANDY – a new circus monodrama by Tomasz Piotrowski directed by Sylwester Biraga, combining theatre of form with New Circus. After the show, the Grand Prix winner will be announced (a prize of 5000 PLN gross). The audience will decide the winner. After each performance, viewers stay for a conversation with the creators and cast their vote for their favourite. You don't need to know anything about theatre or come in a group – the intimate auditorium of PRZESTRZEŃ 71 encourages conversation, and the more performances someone sees, the more they have to say when choosing the winner.
