Shame or pride? Author meeting

The meeting is related to the publication of the short story collection "Pride and Shame. Seven Stories and a Poem," edited by Antonina Tosiek and Łukasz Ronduda. The book accompanies Edward Dwurnik's exhibition "Pride and Shame" at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. The book features the most interesting voices of the young generation entering into dialogue with Dwurnik's paintings, known for their critical look at changing lifestyles and social hierarchies. This is literature woven around the two title emotions of key importance to the painter, who showed how society produces visions of advancement and downgrading, success and compromise. Zbroja's and Jakubowiak's stories are also linked to Dwurnik's painting by a sense of humor, and even a certain excess. Admission to the meeting is free. Details on the Museum's website.
