(Sulejówek) Treasures in a Spiderweb, or Embroidered Decorations for Home and Garden – Workshop for Adults

October 24, 2026, 13:00
Autumn, a mix of warm sunbeams and morning frost on the lawns... Is there anything more beautiful at this time of year than glistening ice crystals among the red and russet branches? And what if you could capture this view and take it home? We invite you to a creative workshop where you will embroider, paint, thread, and sew! WHEN: October 24 (Saturday), 1:00 PM WHERE: Józef Piłsudski Museum in Sulejówek TICKETS: https://tiny.pl/cpfr6-v73 Show everyone how you see the wind, clouds, and autumn atmosphere. You will choose your favorite colors and motifs, and then transfer them onto wooden hoops. Cords and threads, laces, ribbons, sequins, and glass beads are the building blocks for your projects. We will add magical trinkets brought from the Piłsudskis' garden: natural leaves, grasses, and feathers, so that in these autumn decorations you can capture everything that the gust of October wind brings. You can give your personal versions of "dream catchers" a hidden symbolism, sew wishes and dreams into them, and thus create amulets that bring peace and protect against the frosty evenings of the approaching winter. We will spend our creative time over hot tea and chats in a friendly – as always – company. Instructor: Angelika Dłuska The workshops are part of the series "History That Strengthens – Creative Wellbeing Workshops." More information on the website of the Józef Piłsudski Museum in Sulejówek.
