Unsound 2026 – Warsaw/Kraków

The program includes, among others, a rare performance by Diamanda Galás and a project "WARSZAWA" by Piotr Kurek commissioned specially for this occasion, referencing David Bowie's stay in the capital – featuring vocalists from the "Śląsk" Song and Dance Ensemble and visuals by Wilhelm Sasnal. Also performing will be Tim Hecker, Actress, Liars (20th anniversary of "Drum's Not Dead"), L'Rain, Mandy, Indiana, and the band Księżyc, celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut. There will also be collaborations with Polish ensembles – Sinfonietta Cracovia, Hashtag Ensemble – as well as a rich club program, featuring among others RABIT, SEXISDEATH, Debit, gyrofield, DJ Spanish Fly, and Pink Siifu. Complementing this will be a daytime discursive program devoted to, among others, sound surveillance technologies, digital peace negotiations, and underground music in non-democratic European countries 1950–2000.
