Film music · Morricone · Einaudi · Polish motifs · Improvisation What colour is light? An exceptional evening of piano music in the historic Szuster Palace. On 24 October at 7:00 PM in the atmospheric interiors of the Szuster Palace (home of the Warsaw Music Society), pianist and composer Andranik Kechek will present his original programme "What colour is light?". It is a colourful sound journey in which each composition shimmers with its own colour: from the pink of "La vie en rose" to the blue of "Blue Moon". Building on the foundation of the classical academic school, Andranik does not limit himself to the musical score: the entire evening is based on live improvisation. Familiar melodies and original compositions each time gain a new, unique sound. Polish accent of the evening: a dialogue with tradition A special place in the programme will be taken by an improvised fantasy based on motifs by Stanisław Moniuszko, patron of the Warsaw Music Society. The artist will also perform original mazurkas and compositions inspired by Polish musical culture. In the concert programme: Atmospheric film music: hypnotic motifs by Ennio Morricone and Ludovico Einaudi Golden classics of world melody: "La vie en rose", "Over the Rainbow", the iconic "Pink Panther" by Henry Mancini Polish motifs: improvisations around the works of Stanisław Moniuszko and original mazurkas Expression of Argentine tango: sensual rhythms of Astor Piazzolla and tango classics Original piano compositions by Andranik Kechek in vivid arrangements If you appreciate the magic of film music, the noble tone of the piano, jazz freedom and a fresh look at the classics, this evening is just for you.
